Enjoy the diversity of the Algarve on relaxed walks or hikes.

For dog owners with their furry noses, but also dog lovers who don't have their four-legged friends with them or are still looking for their dream dog.

The idea:

In 2012, I took part in a dog walk for the first time in Almancil, at that time with dogs from the organising animal welfare organisation. Even though the primary goal is the welfare of the animals, dog walks naturally offer the opportunity to meet like-minded people, which sometimes leads to real friendships. In any case, to company and lots of fun for animals and humans!

I also regularly took part in Social Dog Walks with Mayra & Chrissy, they are well socialised towards dogs and I like to give them the opportunity to interact to their heart's content.  A big success!

So what could be more natural than combining my love of the Algarve, of long and extended walks with my dogs, and the desire to help the shelter? Mayra, Chrissy and I love to hike and enjoy the diversity of the Algarve, whether on the coast or in the country side, where we discover the many and often well-signposted hiking trails for ourselves. We also always look forward to new trails or recommendations from friends.

And now you come into play! You are very welcome to walk with us, humans and dogs, we appreciate any company who would like to have a great time with us and at the same time support the animal shelter or other local animal welfare projects.

Cost:

No direct costs. But support for animal welfare is appreciated.
